🌍English Version
Amazon Conquest Expedition Route (Day 5: The Ruins Beneath the Black Lake)
(Virtual Expedition Journal)
This is a virtual expedition, a simulation inspired by real Amazonian myths and geology.
Though fictional, it’s grounded in authentic field data and environmental details.
Day 5: Into the Depths
At dawn, the lake is perfectly still — dark as ink, silent as stone.
Something lies beneath, waiting.
Morning: Preparing to Dive
The water is cold and heavy. Visibility: 3 meters at best.
Essential Items:
- High-intensity underwater light
- Waterproof camera and recorder
- Dual oxygen tanks
- Magnetic detector
- Safety line reel
The moment we submerge, all sound disappears.
Only the rhythm of our breath and the pulse of the unknown.
Underwater Discovery
At 5 meters deep, stone slabs appear — forming what looks like a gate.
Engravings: sun, waves, and humanoid shapes — identical to the amulet’s symbols.
Items Acquired:
- Carved stone fragment
- Magnetic mineral
- Sediment sample
We surface after 25 minutes, silent.
There’s no mistaking it: something human once built this.
Afternoon: Analysis and Reflection
Samples show high iron and manganese levels — explaining the water’s black hue.
But their arrangement, the engravings — they speak of intention.
Not nature, but history.
Meals:
- Dried fish and cassava bread
- Spicy bean soup with pimenta
- Sweetened coffee
The wind stirs the lake. The sound feels… alive.
Night: The Breathing Lake
In the dark, the lake glows faintly blue.
Lines of light move beneath the surface — slow, rhythmic, like a heartbeat.
We watch in silence, aware that we are being watched too.
The gate isn’t just a relic.
It’s an entrance—or a warning.

Day 6 – Into the “Sealed Forest.” The mystery deepens.
